LABOR DAY

Labor Day began as a celebration honoring  the dignity of workers.  Over the years, it evolved and took on additional meanings.  Now it also marks the end of summer and the beginning of school.  Labor Day  is traditionally celebrated with parades honoring America’s workers,  picnics, barbecues, a last trip to the beach and final preparations for the beginning of school. Follow the links below to learn more about this holiday weekend.  Find recipes for your family cookout and enjoy links for "back-to-school" activities.
