The Hospitality Committee is a long-standing group within Our Lady of Refuge parish.  It has no regularly scheduled meetings, but is an on-call group of men and women who like to plan and give parties.

Throughout the year Our Lady of Refuge parish has special events that call for large celebrations, receptions or gatherings.  Sometimes it is a visit from the Bishop or other dignitary, an anniversary or jubilee, or a reception following Easter baptisms, a special Mass or funeral.  That is when the Hospitality Committee comes into action.  Members decide upon the appropriate location, decorations and ambience for the event.  They handle details for  food preparation or catering service, etc.   On the appointed day(s) they set up tables and chairs, decorate, prepare and/or serve food, and help with “clean up” after the event.
