The child must be baptized, and the parents must
present a copy of the baptismal certificate to the School o Religious

The parents/guardians must be involved in the faith formation process. |
To
receive the Sacrament of Eucharist (Communion) for the first time:
| The child must be baptized and the parents must present a copy of the baptismal certificate to the School of Religious Education. | |
| The child must have completed at least two (2) consecutive years of faith formation. | |
| The child is prepared for and receives the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. | |
| The parents/guardians must be involved in the faith formation process. |
To
receive the Sacrament of Confirmation:
| The youth must be baptized, and the parents must present a copy of the baptismal certificate to the School of Religious Education. | |
| The youth has received (or will be prepared to receive) the sacraments of Eucharist (Communion) and Reconciliation (Confession). | |
| Two consecutive years of faith formation during grades 9-12 are completed. This includes Tuesday night catechetical sessions, service hours each year, a day retreat first year and an overnight retreat second year. | |
| The youth selects a sponsor who is a confirmed and practicing Catholic and who will be involved with and supportive of the confirmation candidate during the two years of formation. (A parent cannot be a sponsor.) |
The Confirmation Class meets on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
