During the devastating floods of 1993, Our Lady of Refuge brought truckloads of rice, beans, flour and other staples to Lomas Taurinas. The ladies shown at right prepared meals for the homeless and needy during the flood.
The
baby being held by his father (photo at left) was believed to be
retarded. With much
prayer, advice from a doctor
from Our Lady of Refuge and proper medical help, that baby is now normal
and thriving.
