For over  50 years, men from Our Lady of  Refuge parish have sponsored  a group retreat once each year.  It is held  at Franciscan Fathers’ Serra Retreat House in Mailbu on the second weekend of January.   The retreat begins on a Friday evening and concludes on a Sunday afternoon. 

The next Retreat Weekend will be in early January, 2009.

  We invite men of the parish (and others who may be interested) to join the men of our parish family for these three days of quiet recollection spiritual growth.  The Retreat House sits on a mountainside above Malibu and provides a panoramic view of the ocean in the distance.  

You can attend conferences and talks, walk and enjoy the scenery, visit the chapel, read in your room or sit in an outdoor garden.  It is a place where you can find peace, serenity, refreshment and renewal.
