direction, meetings, etc.

It has 26 double rooms and 24 single rooms for guests. The center specializes in weekend retreats for men, women, Seniors
and married couples, as well as retreats for priests and religious.

offered for special groups – Engaged Encounter, Serenity, AA, etc.

The center is attached to historic Mission San Luis
Rey, the 18th California Mission founded in 1798. The retreat center
retains the richness of its surroundings and offers ample grounds for
walking, a swimming pool, and breezes from the ocean four miles away. The

Gabriel mountains, 3,500 feet above sea level.
It has 17 air
conditioned/heated rooms with
double beds and private baths. Guests share “homestyle”
meals with the monastic community, and are invited to join the
monks in silence, prayer and the celebration of Eucharist and the Divine
Office. The center offers
private and group retreats and workshops.
