Welcome - Mabuhay! Ang pangalan ko ay Redempta. Ako ay ipinanganak,
lumaki at nagtapos ng pagaaral sa Pilipinas. Nanirahan at nagtrabaho
ako sa Canada at Virginia Beach bago ako lumipat dito sa Long Beach.
Noong 1978 naging kasapi ako at ang aking pamilia ng “Our Lady of
Refuge Parish”.
Mula nang akoy naging kasapi ng Parokia ng “Our Lady of Refuge” ako
ay naglingkod na pangulo (Chairperson) ng “Blood Drive” sa loob ng
apat na taon at tatlong taon na kasapi ng “Pastoral Council”. Sa
kasalukuyan ako ay kasapi ng “Special Minister of Communion” mula pa
noung 1992 at “active” sa kapisanan ng ACCW (Archdiocesan Council of
Catholic Women) sumadalo ako sa bawat pagpupulong ng nasabing
kapisanan.
Kung kayo ay naninirahan o kaya ay malapit o may plano na lumipat
dito sa Long Beach inaanyayahan ko kayo na “e-mail” ako.
Ako ay nakakapagsalita ng Tagalog at “English”. Inaanyayahan ko kayo
(you are welcome) na sumulat sa akin sa wika na maalwan sa inyo.
Kailangan kong malaman ang iyong pangalan “e-mail address” at numero
ng telepono. Salibin mo rin sa akin ang kaunting impormasion tongkol
sa iyo at manga kawilihan mo (interests) ng matulongan (assist) kita.
Karangalan (honored) kong tangapin (welcome) ka o kayo at ipakilala
ka o kayo sa pamilia ng “Our Lady of Refuge Parish”.

WELCOME!
Welcome! My name is Redempta. I was born, raised, studied and
completed my education in the Philippines. I lived and worked in
Canada and Virginia Beach before I moved to Long Beach. In 1978 I,
with my family, joined Our Lady of Refuge Parish family.
Since I became a parishioner of Our Lady of Refuge, I served as
Chairperson for the Parish Blood Drive for four and one half years
and a member of the Parish Council for three years. At present I am
a member of the Special Ministers of Communion, and have been so
since 1992. I am an active member of ACCW (Archdiocesan Council of
Catholic Women), attending every meeting.
