Our Lady of Guadalupe

This ministry promotes devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe by formally celebrating her Feast Day on December 12. The feast celebrates the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego of Tepeyac, Mexico in the year 1531. Our Lady of Guadalupe was declared Patroness of the Americas in 1999. During the wars of Independence she was the Patroness of the Mexican armies. Many people of the Americas turn to her for help and guidance. It is our mission to foster fellowship and faith among Our Lady of Refuge Community and encourage our members to represent themselves in church projects and activities.
