OLR Stars

first began in ministry in 1999. Diane started as the cookie lady, helping with hospitality for RCIA with Sr. Kathleen. Sean and Diane as a couple became involved in the Christmas-giving ministry when our parish was delivering food and gifts to Tijuana. When OLR stopped going to Tijuana, they joined with Deacon Roger and Mary Ellen Faubert to collect, prepare, and deliver gifts to the Project Achieve Shelter and the Elizabeth Ann Seton Residence in Long Beach. In 2010, Diane assisted Cathy Hoover to start the OLR Spiritual Book Club and she continued as coordinator through 2022. Both Sean and Diane participated in the OLR Bible Study, led by Judy Buberl, Cathy Hoover, and Phil Sheridan. In 2018, they both joined the Lector Ministry where Sean continues his involvement. Diane has been a member of the Eucharistic Ministry since 2019. Sean and Diane are very thankful for all the members of the OLR community who have enriched their spiritual lives.
