He has dutifully accepted every request to be an altar server at Sunday Masses and special events, even during Covid. Seeing JAX alongside his cousins and his best friend Ralu on the altar is reassuring and reinforces our idea of community. JAX received all his sacraments with OLR and will graduate from OLR School in June. He learned piano at OLR and plays most school sports. In addition, JAX regularly plays competitive basketball for the YMCA, maintains a high GPA, and is recognized on the Honor Roll at Our Lady of Refuge School. JAX has been accepted at Servite, a private, Catholic, all-boys college preparatory school in Anaheim and hopes to continue to altar serve at OLR when needed and to help in any way he can while he attends high school.
