Yarn Angels

The Yarn Angels are a group of caring and generous women who use their crocheting and knitting skills to create items with “knots of love”. These include prayer shawls for the sick and grieving, baby blankets and hats, lapghans and afghans. These items are gifted to OLR parish members in need and donated to local organizations whose focus includes infant centers, convalescent homes, and outreach to the homeless.

Members of the Yarn Angels meet twice a month on Thursdays from 10:00-11:30 A.M. in Mary’s Room of the Religious Education Center. New members are always welcome.

Thank you for your generosity, we are overflowing with yarn donations. We cannot accept any more yarn for the foreseeable future.
